As Artistic Director of Menswear collections at Dior, Kim Jones has continued to fuse high fashion with contemporary art. This time the Autumn/Winter 2021 collection took inspiration from the artist Kenny Scharf.
His dynamic cartoon-like, otherworldly visions made their way down a space age catwalk in late 2020. Now his graphic style has been reimagined in these hand embroidered goldwork varsity-style letters, seen here on actor Kingsley Ben-Adir.
Hand & Lock are the preeminent specialist called upon when designers are looking to include goldwork in their collections. Kim Jones has previously used Hand & Lock whilst designing for Louis Vuitton.
