The Vampire’s wife was co-founded in 2014 by Alex Adamson and formal model and muse Susie Cave. The brand takes its name from an abandoned book project conceived of by Suzie Cave’s husband, the musician Nick Cave. From modest beginnings serving the fashion needs of Susie’s circle of friends, it has since grown into a successful global brand and popular look seen on the red carpet.
Hand & Lock worked on a special project to create luxury velvet Initial Book Bag’s covered in lavish hand embroidered goldwork. These made to order book bags often feature custom initials in the centre of an intricate starburst made up of hand embroidered spangles, beads, goldwork bullions and metallic threads. The eye catching book bags have been seen with the likes of Harry styles and Brad Pitt.
