"Looking forward to the next chance to order something similar from your great team. You really are first class proffesionals in what you are doing and I am really happy I coincidentally found your company online."
"The Hand & Lock teachers were fabulous - they arrived bright and early every day ready to share these very complex techniques with us. The level of technical skill they brought to the classes was wonderful - and their ability to share the practicalities of the techniques with us was just fantastic."
“Thank you so much for the tour on Friday. It was more than I was expecting. The girls talked about it for the rest of the day. Truly amazing work.”
“I received my order today: the quality of workmanship is exquisite. My thanks to everyone involved.”
“Very good clear site. It is a pleasure to see such high class work being performed and also realise that real quality is still being produced.”
“Received sash today. Absolutely beautiful, as is your firm’s custom. Please give my compliments and extend my thanks to Mr. Griffiths.”
“I have recently purchased your Victorian and Edwardian inspired handmade brooch -it is beautiful. And I love your published prizes catalogues (Hand & lock Prize for Embroidery Book of Finalists). So far I have copies of the last three. Lovely to browse and get inspired for own work and for the knowledge that such work is still alive and well and evolving.”
“The grandson of a friend of mine is graduating from the Royal Canadian Air Cadets glider course at CFB Trenton on Thursday, August 13th, and will be receiving his Glider Wings. His grandfather, an ex-RAF Battle of Britain Spitfire pilot, wished to make a token presentation of his own RAF wings to his grandson at the graduation dinner to follow but he did not have a pair of RAF wings with the King’s crown. When he told me of his dilemma, I thought of contacting the RAF Association for assistance and, through them, I was put in touch with your services. The wings arrived today via airmail and have been delivered to the grandfather who is delighted. As an 87 year old retired RCAF Squadron Leader and WWII veteran Spitfire Pilot, I am very pleased to have been a part of this little heart-warming drama and wanted you to know how much we both appreciated your prompt handling of my order which made it all possible. Many thanks, “
“Your service is recognisably efficient and professional, and in this modern world stands out as a shining example of days in which the maxim ‘Service’, no longer exists. A strawberry in a bowl of prunes strangely comes to mind. Instantly recognisable, and infinitely preferable. Sincere Kind Regards”
“Thanks for everything and its been a great experience for me to enter the Hand & Lock competition. Cheers”
“The Banner has been seen by the senior members of the Cadet and Air Force systems. They have all been extremely pleased with the quality of the work. Congratulations. The Banner was displayed and passed to the Air Cadet Corps today and will be presented to the winning Wing, 5 Wing in Tasmania on 8 Feb by the Chief of the RAAF Air Marshall Biskin. Thank for your good work.”
"You have done Hand and Lock and the US Navy proud…This is what it is all about. I cannot wait to put these on my collar along with your fabulous anchors!"
“We have just received our new piece… may I just add the gratitude of our lady members for a job well done. Everyone is really deligted with our tablecloth.”
"I received the badge today. PERFECT. I would like the same badge, same size, on dark navy blue for another beret. The Commando Green Anchor Badge is the ideal dimensions for my purposes."
"The blazer badge is absolutely gorgeous!…our warmest thanks to whomever made this exquisite badge."
"…My wife and I opened it and she is delighted with the old school crest. Thanks to your craftsperson on a lovely job."
"I am writing to express my appreciation with the Blazer badges…I thought my order was a commercial transaction, but it turned out a commission for a work of art, thank you."
