Joining Hand & Lock as an intern, Selina, whose University course was primarily digital embroidery focused, discovered a passion for live embroidery events. A fantastic communicator she is level headed in a hectic store environment, personable with shoppers and well organised. The main skills needed to operate a digital embroidery machine in a busy retail environment.
After her internship, Selina became a full-time team member and was promoted to Events and Production Assistant. Effectively taking over the booking, planning, logistics and running of all Hand & Lock’s in-store embroidery pop-ups. Given the seasonal nature of these events, Selina is also a vital part of the Hand & Lock production team alongside Alice Murrel and Jessica Pile helping manage large scale orders.
Client’s wishing to book an embroidery event benefit from Selina’s excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. Whether the booking is ten consecutive events at six different stores across the country or a single afternoon in an East London boutique, Selina can take care of all the details.
