‘This month I was drawn to a fantasy imagining of the night sky embroidered in glass beads, star-shaped sequins and crystals. I chose this sample to mark the anniversary of the moon landings. 50 years ago
the whole planet looked to the stars as Apollo 11 made its way to the moon. From the launch on the 16th July to the lunar surface touchdown on the 20th July, history was being made.’
